100% NATURAL INGREDIENTS

At Homespun Holistics we only use 100% natural ingredients in all of our products. We use pure essential oils, not perfumed or artificially enhanced. All our ingredients are sourced locally in New Zealand and product batches carefully monitored for quality and consistency.

Here is a list of ingredients we use in this product:

Basil

BASIL

Basil has sweet, green herbaceous top notes and spicy, liquorice/aniseed undertones. Basil has a more subtle, less sharp cephalic effect than rosemary and is the first choice for relieving intellectual fatigue, when the mind is weak or indecisive. It is useful for nervous disorders and is especially suited to those suffering from a debilitating illness. Overall basil is restorative, fortifying and clearing.

Frankincense

FRANKINCENSE

This beautiful essential oil comes from a small tree native to North Africa and some of the Arab countries. It is a small shrubby tree with white flowers, incisions in the bark produce a milky, white resin that hardens into orange brown ‘tears’ and the essential oil is steam distilled from the hardened resin.

Mandarin

MANDARIN

It is a small evergreen tree with glossy leaves, fragrant flowers and fruit varying from yellow to orangey red. The essential oil is expressed from the peel of the nearly ripe fruit and has a very delicate aroma, true to the scent of the fruit and is golden yellow in colour.

Rosewood

Rosewood

Rosewood is also known as bois de rose, and is a tropical, evergreen tree with yellow flowers. The essential oil is steam-distilled and occasionally water-distilled from wood chips. it usually comes from Brazil or Peru.

Vetiver

Vetiver

Vetiver is a tall, fragrant, densely tufted perennial grass, with an extensive network of fibrous roots. The essential oil is steam-distilled from the cleaned, washed and chopped roots and rootlets, which are first dried and then soaked in water.

Olive Oil

OLIVE OIL

Olive oil is obtained from the pressing of the fruit of the olive tree.

Coconut Oil

COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is an edible oil extracted from the kernel or meat of matured coconuts harvested from the coconut palm

Beeswax

BEESWAX

The wax is formed by worker bees, who secrete it from eight wax-producing mirror glands on the inner sides of the sternites plates of each segment of the body

Vitamin E

VITAMIN E OIL

Vitamin E helps to protect the skin cells and membranes from environmental damage. This protection extends to stopping damage to the skin from UV, pollutants and aging. It provides moisturisation for the skin and allows the skin to breathe and function naturally, therefore helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

WHAT OUR
C
USTOMERS SAY

" I run half marathons and the occasional marathon. Often at the 17-18km range I would experience muscle cramping and this muscle pain would linger after runs. I started using the Muscle Rub before and after longer runs. I found the cramping and soreness almost completely disappeared. I even carry a small tub when running marathons. "

Ian - Runner (47)

"Just received my order and the products are every bit as good as they sound. My twinkle toes are feeling pampered, my pulse points have been hit with calm balm and the sensuous balm is saved up for later ;-) "

Sarah - Wellington

Rosemary - Warkworth
